Some environments need to ensure that specific departments (or users), only have access to the latest RELEASED revision of a document (they should not have visibility to what is currently being changed – but not approved for manufacturing). MechWorks PDM supports two modes, the original “Released Database” mode and the simplified “Released Database” mode. This video shows how easy it is to implement and take advantage of the simplified “Released Database” mode.
